***Applications are invited from motivated, enthusiastic hardworking individuals for the post of Digital Forensic Examiner, based at Thorpe Wood Police Station, Peterborough, within the Digital Forensics Unit.

Cambridgeshire Police has invested in its team of digital forensic examiners over the last few years. It provides technical support at a local and regional level, contributing resources to tackling the increasing threat of cyber and digitally supported criminality.

As a Digital Forensic Examiner, you will be responsible for ensuring the Unit delivers examinations in a timely way and in accordance with mandated standards (ISO17025). Beyond this, investigators will need your advice and support in the handling, recovery and preservation of digital evidence. You will produce well-structured reports

Selection will be by paper-sift and interview, both based on the skill categories, essential and desirable criteria contained in the role profile.
