Assistant Chief Constable - ERSOU

£103,023 per annum
Bedfordshire Police have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to lead a collaborative operational unit, for which Bedfordshire have lead Force status.
Assistant Chief Constable Eastern Region, a role that operates on behalf of all 6 Forces in the Eastern Region plus Kent in the delivery of the Eastern Region Specialist Operations Unit (ERSOU) and the Eastern Region Counter Terrorism Intelligence Unit (ERCTIU).
The successful candidate will work closely with our Chief Constable Garry Forsyth and newly promoted Deputy Chief Constable Trevor Rodenhurst, as part of the Bedfordshire executive team, but also closely with the Deputy Chief Constable’s of the member Forces.
A strong and productive working relationship with the individual Forces and Police and Crime Commissioners and their teams is important, and sustaining that relationship going forward will be a key aspect of this role.
