The Resourcing Team are a group of dedicated police staff that work on a large portfolio, including the development and implementation of promotions processes across the tri-force.

This is a varied and exciting role, supporting a variety of projects and being a dedicated administrative resource to the team.

The candidate must have strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills and a personable approach to working.

The candidate must be able to prioritise their workload based on demands within the wider team. There is also the requirement for the candidate to be flexible and able to think on their feet.

They will be experienced in handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone and email, both internally and externally.

The candidate will be required to provide a variety of administrative support including preparing documents, booking meetings, dealing with a range of enquiries, some complex, either in written form, or by telephone.

There will be a need to liaise with other departments across BCH and partner organisations. The candidate will need to be confident working with people of all ranks.

You must be competent with Microsoft Office, proactive with general office tasks and excel at both verbal and written communication.

The successful candidate will need to have the ability to travel between the three forces, as may be required to travel at short notice to locations that do not have easy access to public transport. Business insurance will need to be arranged by the post holder, if using own car.
