As part of the People and Workplace Development Directorate, we are seeking to appoint two (2) Health and Wellbeing Supporters to assist in the delivery of the National Blue Light Wellbeing Agenda. The positions will be based at HQ and Luton.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team providing health and wellbeing advice to police officers and staff; you will work closely with other professionals to provide a customer focussed service which supports both the organisation and, it’s most important resource, the people who work within it.

The role is a pivotal role, where you will be supporting the development of the Peer Support Network, and co-ordinating the delivery of public health campaigns, and opportunities to enhance wellbeing education across the organisation.

You will also facilitate and co-ordinate a range of initiatives to improve employee Health and Wellbeing. This includes developing and promoting a rolling programme of Wellbeing activities which support wellbeing in the work place, and identifying new and engaging initiatives and opportunities which increase awareness of wellbeing matters across the organisation.

You will be able to work on your own initiative with a high degree of autonomy and demonstrate high levels of personal motivation, drive and resilience and the ability to manage a varied workload with ever changing priorities.

You will need excellent communication and influencing skills both written and verbal and must be confident in using IT packages such as Microsoft office and databases.

The post holder will be required to travel between stations and it is expected that they make their own travel arrangements accordingly.
