Bedfordshire Police Citizens in Policing Unit are seeking a dynamic and engaging individual to support our Community Watch Schemes which include Speed Watch, Street Watch, Horse watch and Dog Watch.

The successful applicant will join a team of seven police staff and officers to deliver the Citizens in Policing plan for Speed Watch and support the recruitment of volunteers for all of our Watch Schemes.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the force in engaging with volunteers to build confident communities and provide a point of contact for our Speed Watch volunteers. You will support the Community Watch Scheme Coordinator to deliver volunteer services across Bedfordshire.

Experience of working with volunteers is essential and the post holder will be required to travel across the county and provide cover for the Community Watch Scheme Coordinator when appropriate.
