Police Officer Recruitment - now open!
We have now opened Police Officer recruitment; the closing date for applications will be the 3rd February 2019 (23:55).
To apply you must have the ability to demonstrate your potential to carry out the role of a Police Officer by providing evidence against key competency based questions as detailed on the application form.
Further information on the role of a Police Officer is available on the recruitment website, including the eligibly criteria, information on the selection process, training involved and guidance on completing the competency based application form, please ensure you read these documents before submitting your application.
In addition, the attached document will provide you with all the information you need to complete your application.
Please note, for Bedfordshire internal candidates, if you are currently a Communications Operator, Detention Officer or a PCSO you will need to have completed a minimum level of service in that role before you are able to apply. This is to ensure the Constabulary receives a return on investment on the training invested for your current role. This is 18 months for Communications Operators and 12 months for both Detention Officers and PCSO's.
