A ‘once in a career’ opportunity has arisen for a variety of roles to work on Operation Costello, the largest operation Bedfordshire Police has ever run to combat the highest levels of serious and organised crime across the county. 

Applications are invited from dynamic, tenacious and self-motivated individuals who have a keen interest in investigating serious and complex crime, with good working knowledge of new/emerging capabilities and technology as well as covert policing tactics and legislation also desirable.

Successful candidates will need to hold a full driving license and will be subject to enhanced vetting and integrity checks, which must be passed prior to undertaking the role. 

Progression to an interview will be dependent upon successful completion of a paper sift. 

The interview will be a competency-based interview marked against the integrated competency framework and will require you to provide examples of your skills and knowledge.
