The HR Query Team manages queries that are submitted from across BCH via the iQuery portal. The post holder will work as part of the Query Team and support the Query Team Advisors by taking on some of the non-technical HR queries. Many of those will require administrative corrections to be made to iTrent.

Scope of activity 

  • A good understanding of iTrent/iManage will be necessary, as many of the queries will relate to changes that need to be made on the HR systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required to manage a wide range of queries, which could include researching information, interrogating HR systems and signposting customers to information and user guides that are on IQuery.
  • The post holder will have an active role in promoting IQuery, coaching customers to self-serve and make use of the resources available.
  • They will also identify when we are receiving high-volume queries on the same subjects, and flag to the Query Team Manager if new or improved IQuery content is needed in order to reduce those queries.
  • Overall there will be a focus to provide an exceptional service to HR customers and deal with as many queries at first point of contact as possible
    Training Requirements. 

The post holder will be expected to undertake necessary training/coaching in accordance with the role. This will include: 

  • Systems training on iQuery and iTrent/iManage
  • Team upskilling sessions
  • Regular team briefings to keep up to date with developments and changes to team processes.

Any other General Requirements/Scope 

  • The post holder will be based in Daneshill, Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
  • The post holder will work within standard office hours 9am-5pm.
  • The post holder will not be required to manage a budget.
