Cambridgeshire Constabulary are currently looking for a Volunteer Role Players.
The aim of this role is to participate in the training of Probationer Police Officers in dealing with a variety of situations that will challenge their ability to deal with members of the public.
You will be asked to play a role in a particular situation which has been devised to challenge the Probationers understanding of relevant legislation, along with the appropriate internal procedure whilst the Probationer demonstrates the necessary communication and customer service skills relevant to that situation and your behaviour.
You will be given full guidance by the qualified trainers who are present to assess the Probationers actions. However you will also be expected to give feedback to the trainers and the Probationers.
The role will be based at Monks Wood, Peterborough. Hours are expected to be between 4 and 16 hours per week, though this will not be every week.
