Communications officers play a crucial role in helping Bedfordshire Police protect people and fight crime.
They take part on a duty rota, handling media enquiries, writing appeals and publishing across a variety of internal and external channels.
This role is also responsible for providing communications support to the OPCC – writing press releases and handling media enquiries and ensuring messages are joined up between the force and OPCC.

The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills, experience of working as part of a wider team with a keen eye for detail and a flair for creativity.

Design and video-editing skills would be an advantage.
